Embryo Donation
Embryo donation is one of possible infertility treatments.
Embryos intended for donation come from couples, who no longer wish to keep their embryos for their future treatments, for personal or other reasons, and have given their written consent to their donation. There is a very limited number of such embryos.
Reprofit also offers following treatment option under these conditions:
1. Only frozen embryos, created via fertilization of donor eggs and donor sperm, are used for donation
2. All donors have been properly tested (genetic testing, sexually transmitted diseases)
3. We do our best to match the physical characteristics of the donors‘ (blood type, hair/eye color, height, weight) as close to the recipients‘ as possible.
4. We guarantee one or two quality embryos for transfer (depending on the number of frozen embryos)
Preparation for the treatment cycle follows the same stimulation protocol as for cryoembryo transfer.
We cannot offer a 100% guarantee that embryos survive the thawing process (the survival rate is around 85-90%).
